Biography

Joshua Powell recently completed his Master’s Degree at the University of Pennsylvania, as a UK Thouron Award scholar. He is a 2016 graduate, and has subsequently worked as a Geographer, Field Biologist and Explorer with a range of organisations, including the Royal Society of Biology and The Explorers Club. His research focusses on conservation biology, human-wildlife interactions and the ecological impact of predator populations. He was named a ‘Leader of Tomorrow’, in 2016 by the 46^th St. Gallen Symposium in Switzerland
